Samata Health has an existing platform connecting patients, therapists, and organizations around mental-health benefits, sponsored sessions, calendars, payments, and multiple user roles. My work started by fixing bugs and problems in the version currently in use, while keeping the next product stage in view.
My current responsibility
I am responsible for building the product through Aptura Labs. That includes investigating and fixing issues in the current platform, improving scheduling and timezone handling, expanding the therapist calendar, working on B2B session renewal and auditing, and improving branding, login, SEO, and the local environment.
The next stage
The intent is to rebuild Samata from scratch: a new public experience and a new platform that remove limitations from the legacy version. The rebuild will happen in stages, using Figma designs and verifiable product decisions before replacing each surface.
What it demonstrates
This project combines two responsibilities that rarely appear separately: maintaining a real healthcare product while preparing its replacement. It demonstrates how I work with legacy systems, ship safe fixes, and build a new foundation without making irresponsible migration promises.
